Orient Bambino 2 v3. Practically new.

Looked great in the pictures but then looked a bit too old fashioned for me when wearing it. Plus I have a similar style watch that I wear on 'dress' occasions.

Bit of a stupid impulse buy meaning a bargain for someone else. Will give a discount for offers from this forum.

Does yours feel like there is grit in the movement when you wind it? I was the same "looked great in the Urban Gentry video, not so good on the wrist".

No I can’t say it does. Probably not the highest quality movement ever at that price, understandably, but can't say it grinds.

I can’t stand urban gentry he’s so false and will recommend a brand for a pay cheque and as for that squale crap he peddles
Fredrico is quite an honest reviewer

Hmnn his channel somewhat got me back interested in things. Can you recommend any other channels worth watching?

Interesting, I'd only ever heard good things about Squale.

I couldn’t help but laugh at this, he really hates TGV

a seiko SK07 is a more refined movement at that price

Thats the problem theses days, you have to judge the messenger as much as the message. Squalae offer nothing over seiko except being more expensive. Nothing wrong with them, but they aint some sort of rebel choice, or anti watch snob buy. I have fallen for it too many time, so now if TGV recommends it, I consider it garbage.

TGV has his faults, he builds up hype, goes overboard on the whole snobbery = lack of nobility thing, and bothers me in how he tries to convince him a watch is as good as some grail he wants** ( e.g. His Sinn 104 which he tried so hard to convince himself it would scratch his brietling itch, only to flip it and buy the brietling).

TGV is not however rude, generally respects opinions and does not go out of his way to rag on other vloggers. Archie is an outright horrible person. I cant watch or support that type of negativity and put no value on anything he as to say.

**Being honest, are there any watch guys who dont do this!

Bear Clooney is a good new channel esp for rolex, little less PC than Fredrico. Also you have to watch the "Produce Michael" channel for pure extravagance.

Michael is sound and seems like a really nice guy. Has terrible taste in watches though.

In fairness, I don't live in Beverly Hills so maybe is taste in on point over there.

You can't take Archie too seriously. He can be a funny f**ker.

He's clearly been watching TGV's videos seeing as he's mispronouncing Squale!

They have history together, Archie helped tgv setting up how channel apparently and they had a falling out

Oh, I really dislike that chap! He Just seems very smug or something and his mate John P talks utter rubbish, he done a strange video about getting a watch for 30 days then returning it by using ebays return policy yet I watch their Videos haha

Have a look at these guys:

    Watchfinder & Co.

    Bruce Williams.

    Random Rob.

    Bark and Jack (not great)

    Watch box reviews .

Hodinkee (has a hipster feel to the content)

The Time Teller (shouts alot, bit of an eejit)

TGV I used to watch for the watch measurements.

That Archie guy isn't well, I don't like his videos .

But like I said as much as I dislike some of these guys I still end up watching their Videos

Selling my Breitling Pluton which I bought in Weirs back in 1999, comes with original box etc and Weirs stamp. A little bit of wear to the strap but in spotless condition otherwise and recently replaced battery.
