Anyone with better knowledge than me like to have a look at papers when i get them.

Papers are easier faked that the watch I am afraid.

Seller looks legit to me. They have had the watch for sale for a good while and have not dropped the price to try and sell etc.

Just keep in mind that with Paypal business the seller would generally ask that you pay his paypal fees (works out to around 3% of the purchase price). But that would be around €60 on a 2k watch so less that messing about with escrows. As a seller and buyer I would say that unless specifically negotiated the buyer would generally cover this fee.

If thats the case ill got for it i have pay pal and so does he. I'm currently getting a copy of papers sent to email.

PayPal is the best way to purchase a watch you can’t collect, you are covered if the watch doesn’t arrive or has any defects upon arrival, the buyer is protected.
I tend to offer to cover the fees rather than use the friends and family option

Do not use this option under any circumstances to purchase anything

Just about every watch I bought was without a meet up. The person should be able to give some references for recent deals or ebay feedback

Selling my very recently acquired Longines Conquest. Bought here off Unkel a couple of weeks ago on a whim. Doesn't suit my collection.

Serious deal for someone in here, looking for what I paid Unkel for it which is a decent bit less than listed on adverts.

If any boardsie wants to make an insulting offer it will be listened too :) I've something ready to pull the trigger on so funds from this would he helpful.

It needs a new battery but is still keeping perfect time.

Seriously, any disgusting and downright rude offers welcome :)

You lot disgust me with the amount of PM offers I got.. all of you hiding your offers from others here so you won't be judged as weak watch buyers :):)

Watch now sold to the first caver.... enjoy the watch "This is it"

No it was the first offer and was a serious buyer so honorable thing was to sell. Made a tiny loss but in this climate you have to be willing to take the odd hit.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

So who got it? Reveal yourself!

Very nice watch for the money. I was delighted with it when I got it. But soon after I got a Seiko Turtle. Again. Automatic and with a blue face. So that got most of the wrist time. And I'm a bit of a one watch man, so the Longines had to go. It did come to the UK with me early last month to pick up my Tesla though, so it wasn't neglected :D
