Is there a connection/pathway from Howth Junction and Donaghmeade DART station to Baldoyle Industrial Estate.
How long of a walk would this take?

I hope this thread is in the right place, mods feel free to move it if you think its in the wrong place.

If coming by Dart, the stop that you get off at is Howth Junction. On departing the train, you must exit the station at the left or right hand platforms, when outside the station there is a bridge going over all of the train tracks, go to the set of steps that go down from the centre of the bridge. Go down the lane from the train station, turn right, continue down the lane past Fas on your left (If Fas is closed you can continue past the right turn to Fas and take the next right), walk through the Fas car park, with Fas still on your left, until you reach gates; this is the entrance into the industrial estate. From here, go left until you reach the end of the road, then go right, at the next T-junction go left. This road looks like a cul-de-sac; at the end of the road there is a petrol station to the left and a small road to the right; we are on the road to the right.

I copied and pasted this but all the info is right

It's about a 5 minute walk to FAS but depending on where you're going in the ind est could be longer

2-3mins tops. The longest part is leaving the station and waking up and around all the stairs. If the gates are open on platform 2/3 it would be even quicker but there rarely are.

FÁS was abolished 4 years ago. Baldoyle Training Centre is run by Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board. :)

Can you still cut through by foot where the old FAS. training centre was that's now called "ddletb" according to Google Earth to get from Howth Junction train station in to Baldoyle Industrial Estate, cheers.

Yeah, you can still access the lane from the middle platform that runs alongside the tracks and you can go around FAS to access Baldoyle industrial estate.

FAS have their own gate which would make it shorter but it’s locked AFAIK.

Anyone heard anything new on these incidents?

Kids tripping up people on platforms, knocking them into tracks?
