    Hello,

I'm looking for a restaurant in the city or just outside that would have a nice view.

    Thanks

During the day? Morans on the Weir. The Pullman on a clear day (be warned, short menu which might not be everybody's taste). The Royal Villa (ask for a table looking out on the water)

What used to be Lemongrass, outside seats by Spanish Arch.

    Possibly the Maggie's/Mud Dock boat?
Not got there myself yet but there is a thread about it here somewhere.

O'Grady's Barna. Ask for a window seat upstairs.

The food in OGradys is fab, recommended.

Define a "nice view" .. as in, of what?

I like the window-corner table upstairs in the Latin Quarter Wine Bar. Great for people watching. Prefer watching nature from right inside it rather than from in a restaurant.

But the Mud Dock .. no .. not a nice view there at all. :-(

    Don't think they serve Orcas...

Course they do. They sell fish, and serve humans and presumably other mammals (including whales and Bono who had lunch there on Sunday)
