Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kerr on Scolari " He'll be on the dole queue on Monday morning" :pac:

Was it not the co commentator that made that remark and Kerr defended Scolari by saying how difficult international management was.

Brian kerr offered more laughs during that game than apres match. "He has a hump on him already".

He said that Scolari would be on the dole queue on Monday morning as the poster above said. Kerr is the co-commentator. He also is said managing international teams is very difficult (both are not mutually exclusive and he could only imagine what managing Brazil especially would be like).

He also touched on Bosnia and the demographic and religious situation there and goverment interference with inept or sometimes corrupt FA'S which he implied the Brazilian one was and how FIFA would react. Not bad for a Pats manager.

Pity they didnt have Damien Richardson over as they had in South Africa as he is very quotable with great views on the game as all Cork City fans will tell you.

Alkin definitely said Scolari would be in the dole queue Monday and then said something like "But seriously, there will be a discussion on his future".

Brian Kerr comes across as the type of person I would like to spend no time with whatsoever, under any circumstances.

Alkin made a fool of himself last night. Its painfull listening to someone trying to be funny when they have no wit at all.
He was also criticising nearly every player & seems to have an agenda against David Luiz.

Cant tell if Kenny was unimpressed, or if he was completely oblivious to that.

Either way, he has his usual scowl on.

I'd say Tony is really in dreamland sitting in the main mans chair. He's so out of his depth, he should have been told to bring his own stool.

I'd prefer Tony to Mr Smug Darragh Maloney

Have to agree, Luiz has had an outrageously poor last two games and generally is just not a good defender, but Alkins constant snipes and swipes even when Luiz was nowhere near play, and at one point going on and on about how out of 10 he didn't even deserve a zero up a minus mark was just unprofessional. Not sure if he was trying to be funny with that stuff the Apres Match lads in studio and Kerr being on fire beside him, but either way it was just pathetic.

"all this talk of who is better is nonsense, it shouldn't even be a discussion. Messi has scored wwwaaaaaayyyy more goals than Maradona"(could swear there was some mild facing noise in the background too).

I like Messi, and he is easily one of the best of all time. I don't believe in definitive best player of all time, but he is quickly getting to ot possibly even at the top tier with Pele, Maradona and Beckenbauer. But that was just a stupid, stupid statement given he is basically a forward where Maradona was a midfielder. On that basis Romario is light years better than either of them.

Matt Smith ITV presenter side of at the pitch before the 2014 world Cup Final with Fabio Cannavaro.

Matt: " So Fabio what is the feeling in your stomach for this match between these two teams"

Fabio: "Em my stomach is very excite because these are eh two great teams, eh great football, fantastic. In Brazil the final, eh fantastic."

There then followed an awkward look and pause from Matt Smith.:o

Matt: (Sheepishly rephrasing the first question) "So who do you think will win?"

    I switched channel after that....

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.
