Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I fail a module or two even in the resits, does this mean I have to repeat the entire year and all the modules or can I just repeat the failed modules in year 2? Or do I just spend the year repeating the failed modules only?

Also, would I have to pay full fees?

You can't progress to the next year of your course without passing everything, so if you fail a module in the repeats, you must re take that module and pass it before progressing.

So does that mean if I failed one module repeat, I would have to take only that module in the next year?

Actually in some circumstances you CAN fail a module and progress to the next year. You simply do it on top of your second year work. You can only take a maximum of 75 credits in an academic year so so that would mean you could carry maybe a module. You'd have to contact your course chair to go over this, but usually when you fail a module, you repeat it on it's own next academic year with a new bunch of 1st years.

No, you pay 55 euro per credit you have to repeat. SO for every 5 credit module you have to repeat it's 275 euro, and it's 550 for a 10 credit one.

I think there's a fee on top of it for every module you repeat, but it's small enough I think.

So if worse comes to worse and you have to repeat, it won't cost you anywhere near the cost of fees unless you're repeating 35 or 40 credits+.
