Backing draws blindly in the second round matches would yield a healthy profit so far. The draw for the Brazil v Chile match was 7/2 alone.

best at 24/5 for this one

I can't believe people think Schurrlllee meant to heel the ball behind him to score.

Friedel "I think he meant it, I was following his eyes", FFS, he meant to do a heelybackstrike.

Good auld Brady, "I don't think Schurrrllllee has the skill to do that"

    Me too

    The colombia price is crazy
    French german game very much
    A 50/50 match imo
Bookies giving brazil too much respect

Chile are better than Colombia on almost any metric, and Brazil were able to get past them. I think the chance to get Brazil beaten before the final is gone

It's about time the Argies started playing to their potential. Hopefully they'll crush the boring Gnomes of Zurich in style today.

Terrible effort. Sums up the Swiss.

Jaysus, I've seen better matches in the AUL in Turners Cross.

Backed Argentina to win outright. Gonna have to go for some insurance bet on another other team. This crowd are shyte.

I wonder what odds you would get on Di Maria not actually being Argentinian, must be 1/100000. Complete ****ebox.

I remember the good oul days when, if we had Switzerland in a qualifying group for the Euros or World Cup, we'd be confident of putting at least 3 or 4 goals past them :(

Only thing i remember is them keeping us out of competition for 4 years :(

Was going to do USA myself but draw is probably the most likely, FFS

Boring cheating Swiss bastards going home

Strange World Cup. No stand out team so far.

Good riddance to Switzerland though. Negative fookers.

Zusi FGS and USA to win 1-0, 125/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,961 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

argentina now best priced 9/2 despite the usa or belgium awaiting
    them for a semi spot
imagine someone showing you the possible quarter final draw at
the start and telling you 9/2 would be available on them

says it all really that the price on them now is bigger than
at the start of the comp
have em backed at best priced 17/4 myself
biggest one man band of a team ever surely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,340 ✭✭✭sdoc13

Have backed usa no draw no bet @ 21/10 with lads.

Also have dempsey fgs and usa1 to 0. Here is hoping.

    Go the winningest team.

I backed them at 4/1. I wouldn't have believed they'd be a bigger price at the quarter final stage.

Who do you reckon this is...won't take long to figure out and would give odds of 100/1 they will actually do anything for me

    Hi help,

I woke up this morning a little disappointed. Last night I placed 2 world cup bets

    USA v Belgium
    1) 1 x USA to win on penalties
    2) 1 x under 0.5 goals to be scored in 90mins

I noted this morning when logging in bet number 2) did not place.

When i placed the bet a price refresh (13/2 to 7/1) took place before I clicked continue which I accepted and continued but for some reason the bet didn't place.

I don't usually complain about things like this e.g. Last week I backed a horse at 10/1 on your U.I. But the bet slip placed the bet at 8/1 . (Obvious price had changed but the betting screen had not updated). I appreciate there are minor bugs here and there but the under 0.5 goals not being placed absolutely took the biscuit for me.

What are you going to do to resolve this issue?

    Kind Regards
    Stephen

I don't fancy your chances Ste. What firm is it?

B365 ate all over the shop lately, having to hit place bet about 100 times before it accepts the bet and getting messages about traffic when I want to check my unsettled bets.

France Columbia double is 14.2/1, looks a good bet.

Wow - I will be staying bet victor

Thank you for your recent contact.

I am writing in reply to your previous email regarding a bet that you attempted to place on Under 0.5 goals in the Belgium v USA game. After a review of your account we can see that there was an unforeseen technical error that stopped your bet from being placed after accepting a price change from 13/2 to 7/1. As such we have manually credited your account with an additional €70.00 which is the profit that you would have won from €10.00 @ 7/1. Please accept our apologies for this error that you have experienced. we believe that the cause of this should not happen again in the future.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Excellent bookies always near the top prices when it comes to football and horses.
Any other bookies would have just avoided that situation too.

Cunningham was talking some rubbish last night .Hopefully they keep brad friedel on , he has some sense .

They're not always so nice. Because of a cock up on their app I ended up having 100 quid on a 25/1 correct score instead of a tenner. They refused to void as the game had just kicked off. Real reason is that im restricted so they treat you like muck. They've closed most I know but seem to just restrict these days. Ended up hedging that bet for a small profit luckily

I should point out that bookies restrictions are the sole reasons we get good value these days so im in favour of them. They should void a bet when their app fuucks up though
