Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spain stopped caring after Holland's dubious 3rd goal, that's the truth of the matter.

But shouting for a team that has robben in it is hardly the answer.

    Never got hatred for Robben.

Very successful player and he's been great tonight.

  • Spain better be careful theres still 10 minutes left. Get there heads together or this will have a knock on effect if they want to progress

He bumped Casillas when he was going for the ball. You cant still foul someone even though it mightnt have been malicious or anything, its still a foul.

I would have said they jumped into each other but it's all the one really in the end!!

    This is a massive shock

I'll admit i went out and said before the game started 4-0 spain and my was i wrong but I'll gladly eat my words masterclass from the dutch

Ireland would have put up a better performance than Spain.

    Yeah they probably would

    Jesus Spain goal difference counts.

Shut up shop. Don't play a high line 3 at the back. Ffs

Chile must be delighted with Holland tonight.

Damaging Spain's confidence and wrecking their GD.

Absolutely wonderful display of defending and counter attacking football from Holland. They've smashed Spain to bits here.

Spain had a years notice and they've changed nothing.

Ripped apart time and time and time again.

Javi Martinez is badly missed in that side.

Pique and Ramos are too prone to brain farts to be a partnership.

Ramos needs someone like Martinez or Albiol beside him.

What will you win 1 euro and 66 cent.

Spain were 13/2 to win the tournament yesterday in some places. Thought it was good value, but never got around to doing it, fortunately.

Great game. Unbelievable result. Still can't see Spain going out yet, but they'll face Brazil in the next round if they come second in this group.

They are, but they've been exposed over and over again, they've been placed in 1v1 situations too often. Martinez should be alongside Alonso or Busqets and they should play a double pivot. Pique and Casillas have to be dropped.

They were warned when Brazil ripped them to pieces last year. It's not like Del Bosque couldnt have seen this coming.

Yes so if you laid them for a tenner you would only win around 1 euro 50.

Could nearly be double figures for Holland.

Ramos has been disgracefully bad tonight. Its been brainfart after brainfart. He can't deal with the Dutch pressing.

Spain seem to have thrown in the towel tonight which is worrying. It could have been 8 or 9 for the Dutch.

    Jesus Torres...

In fairness it's been a strange game. I thought the Spanish were in nearly total control until the Dutch scored. It killed them for some reason.
