Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Pique is not very good.

Oh and the Dutch have struck again! Blind once again with a precision ball and despite being surronded by alleged Spanish defenders, Arjen Robben shows magisterial control and composure, and buries the ball in the net! The Spanish Armada is crumbling before all our eyes!

    Pique is not very good.

Looks like his legs have gone. So ponderous now.

Boom! Now watch every team punt a long ball high between the Spain CB's now.

    Robben's first touch was great.

I'm liking the way there setup against Spain, Van Gaal knows his tactics

After a brief moment in the sun, Sergio Ramos is back to being utter dog sh!t.

Wow! Beautiful control and a great finish from Robbin. That's two fantastic goals now from the Dutch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,285 ✭✭✭Frankie Lee

He has a history of that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Pique's annual turning of a bus there.

Costa should be gone for that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

That's not out of character by Costa. That should be red. Stupid.

Ah give over. If he felt that contact he's doing well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Barr

    Dirty from Costa

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 793 ✭✭✭Kunkka

Robben has been consistently at the top level for so long. Don't like him but he's a super footballer.

    Costa fiery.
Foolish could have been sent off

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Costa's a lucky boy. Should be red.

He nearly headbutted the referee there trying to show him what happened :pac:

  • Must cash out on 2-1 now....

Costa at it again, the man is brainless. A nutter.

    Perfect fit for Chelsea.

Costa can be incredibly brainless at times.

Another excellent ball by Daley Blind. He's grown so much as a player this season.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭Nib

Nothing in that. That defender should've been booked for going down.

Twice the dirty cheat, I'm suprised

Not much of a loaf which your man made a meal of but all the same, Costa the nutter.

I think Costa will take over from Suarez as the boo boy in the premiership next season.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

    Pathetic from the Dutch player...stop being a pu$$y, you're a grown man.

Costa is a an idiot tho

He is a real weakness. Lack of pace and looks very slow to turn.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,797 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Alonso not covering himself in glory at all. Suspect he'll be subbed off if Spain don't score in the next 10 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,399 ✭✭✭McGrath5

I hope some retrospective action is taken against Costa for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Costa doesn't suit the Spanish style of play. He's tailor made for a counter attacking team.

You don't stick your head into someone's face, or even threaten to. If the ref saw that, he was gone.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,429 ✭✭✭Kenjataimu

Costa is a liability, only a matter of time before he does something else stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Costa was lucky the ref didn't see that. There wasn't any real contact but there was intent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

    Two magnificent assists for Blind.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,570 ✭✭✭Ulysses Gaze

I'd be worried about Costa's temperament in the Premier League. Defenders will be trying to wind him up from Day 1 and if he reacts like that he'll quickly become a £30 million+ liability for Chelsea.

Costa will make Suarez look like a choir boy next season

Pity Liverpool missed out in him last year. If they had of gotten him, they should have went back for Diouf again.
    imagine that front 3, beautiful.

    Some vision that guy!

Convinced the refs are scared sh*tless being the first one to send someone off so just chicken out of making decisions!

He got a lot of that treatment already in La Liga, didn't always keep his cool either.

Torres should provide a good injection of pace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Little bit of advertising from Moy Park there.

    Well done lads ;)

Be intetesting to see what Costa is like for Chelsea. Scored most of his goals this season early in the year. Not looking great here but maybe the Spanish set up doesn't suit him. Xavi isn't doing much. They are vulnerable when run at with pace.

Great from RVP again , that was some blast

  • Barr wrote: »
