Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks..
Just a quick question.. We've our iPhones through 3, bill pay contracts (not sure if that's relevant).

Will the GPS on the phones work there??
Is this 3G related or independent of the operator network
    Thanks
    Brian

The GPS chip will work anywhere in the world, no network needed. It just might take longer to lock on. Make sure you have the maps downloaded before you go.

The app should tell you if it has offline capability. Although normally if the app is free then it's online only. You could buy Navigon or similar.

FWIW 3 have deals with networks in some countries so that you can access internet as part of your allowance with no extra cost.

This is the app that I used when driving around Europe a couple of months ago https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/gps-navigation-be-on-road/id573843237?mt=8

Completely offline and has free maps for every country in Europe and beyond. It's not the fanciest app in the world but it worked well for us.
