Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Baines has had a shocker.

He has been poor, but he's had zero cover for the whole game.
    Rooney hasn't tracked back once.
Shaw looked shíte against Ecuador when Rooney played on the left wing as well.

When you have been the worst full back in a side containing Glen Johnson you know you've had a shocker.

Why do people always say every goal was poor defending.

That was just a great goal. Cross was fantastic and very hard to defend against.

No reason Cahill couldn't have made the same run as Balotelli and got his head on it seeing as he was in front of him.

    Balotelli! 2-1 Italy.

FFS England. Move Rooney off that ****ing left wing. Lazy as ****.

Is there a worse goalkeeper with a big reputation then Joe Hart?

Maybe I am being harsh on him in the replay, Glenjo covers himself in glory again of course

Massively over rated, but nothing he could do for the goal.

Rooney covered the most distance of all the English players in the first half!

de Rossi is way off his game. He's been left for dead 4 or 5 times.

Gary Kay-hill: First goal, ball through his legs, second goal he was left flat footed by super mario.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

There's more goals in this. Italy are very poor at the back.

England can get at this lot yet, question is whether they can stop another Italian ball in from the Itilain right.

Baines is trying to mark 2 down the left, Rooney watching instead of tracking back.

Lineker was hinting at HT trying to get people to slag Rooney off but no-one would.

    Lol

Maybe I need to caps it? Because apparently half the thread hasn't noticed.

Ahem....ROONEY IS ON THE RIGHT WING!

Would love to see Barkley come on at some point. Not surprised Johnson was caught out for the goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,325 ✭✭✭RoryMac

Someone needs to explain the offside rule to Balotelli

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,885 ✭✭✭Optimalprimerib

That for me is a stonewall penalty.

People are acting like Rooney's inch perfect cross isn't the reason England have a goal in the first place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

Bit more invention now with Barkley and Sterling. Good things can happen for England here.

That's because it wasn't, it was a very good ball from Sterling, a good cross from Roo and a decent finish at the end of it from Sturridge.

Could someone tell me exactly what Neville is adding to this? He is just rattling off cliches.
