Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sturridge looks like he has a little bit of a dead leg after the foul a few minutes ago.

the fresh legs from England haven't done much.

    Sturridge looks injured?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

The absolute fcuk... Lallana for Sturridge? Must be injured.

Rooney and Gerrard must have dirt on Hodgson.

Eh Phil, its not an imaginary line at all, it's quite real.....

I rewound it, the furthest Italian forward was shouldering an English player

    Chielini did well on Sturridge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Italy have put themselves under this pressure with that Motta sub way too early.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,598 ✭✭✭rizzodun

The fact that Rooney has been so poor makes his pass for the goal all the more amazing. It's like he put all his talent into that cross and has nothing left until it recharges. Maybe he's just burned out.

Ah Jesus Johnson.. what was that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

    Johnson. Useless.

Probably the end of his world cup given his history.

Lol @ Johnson now :pac: it's a comedy of errors.

Fatigue is killing England, no concentration going into the final ball

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 35,514 ✭✭✭✭efb

Que? He went 100% for accuracy, no power at all. It may as well have been a pass, comfortable for the keeper.

Jip was the reason for my ???

Roy reminding me of his Liverpool days.

Looking bemused and bereft of ideas.

    Wah?

He said "when the ref puts down the imaginary line......"
It's very much a physical line and not imaginary at all.

Gerrard legs are gone. Nobody to replace him.

Stevie G and Rooney worst players for eng

Just because gerrard is quiet doesnt mean he is having a bad game, he is playing as a defensive midfielder in a midfield 2 against 3 italian midfielders, he is not the gerrard of old who is gonna bomb forward at every opportunity, wtf do people want him to do?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

Some shocking displays of passing here.

People are so desperate to stick the boot into Rooney it's pathetic. Set up a goal and not wasted possession but sure Sturridge has been fine.

Its gotten a bit boring now. Dunno how Rooney and Gerard are still on the pitch and they took Sturidge off?

Rooneys been fine blame Sturridge and Sterling for bottling it infront of goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

There's some sort of gravitational anomaly along Italy's left hand side.

  • Registered Users Posts: 369 ✭✭microsim

There's a giant football magnet behind the England goal!!!

Sterling is in the wrong position now, cant threaten from there as he cant cross the ball.
Barkley not doing enough. If this is England's best it will be difficult for them.

Some of this England crossing takes me back to my youth watching Chris Morris whipping crosses into the stand playing for Ireland .
