Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hope the brits get absolutely stuffed.

Don't really follow soccer, just wondering how reliable/experienced Joe Hart is?

Not hugely reliable. He was first choice for Man City last year, but was dropped for a while during a bad spell of form, which is a fairly big deal. Came back and did alright after that.

Wellbeck looks exhaused already, 11 minutes in.

Conditions really going to tire players. May suit Italy better in 2nd half.

    Is this Liv v Ita???

They may as well stop trying to name Welbeck, Sturridge and Sterling and just refer to them as "black guy".

I'm not sure how you can confuse Sturridge with Sterling - he's about a foot taller.

Is there going to be a water break for this game as had been speculated?

Especially that England seem to want to play pace and break while Italy look for slow approach.

Anyone notice the moy park meats adverts at the side of the pitch. Armagh based company, must have cost them a fortune.

  • Playing Rooney out of position is such a waist

Pity, thought it was a good idea.

    Parent company is Brazilian.
Name changes during some of the games depending on market audience.

It flashed GOAL in the score bar, and the score changed while it was shoeing the replay from behind the goal.

Anyway, great game so far, both teams have started very fast.

Chiellini at left back seems a waste. Paletta looks a liability, Marchisio has been a passenger. Everything flowing through Pirlo so far for Italy.

England look good on the break.

That ariel view of the stadium made it look like it was built in the middle of a shanty town.

Marfrig is their parent company. You'll see their advert as well.

It pretty much is , shocking level of poverty in that part of Brazil.

Hart looked very nervous in the tunnel and looked poor on that shot, I can see him making a big blunder at some point.

Good game so far, the pace of England's attackers is causing Italy problems and the Italians seem to be able to pass through England's midfield with ease

It's 30 at the moment, but cooling I'd say at this time.

Italy can't deal with Sterling at all.

Meh Welbeck wouldn't have scored if he made that anyway.
