If they are saved on your computer you have to upload them.

You can only link them if they are online images.

    profile-02.jpg

Also I'd edit your post as it might have your real name linked in with the image.

To be fair wiggo is only 5 secs behind him on GC so a little early to be declaring him Team Leader

    Today's stage on Eurosport now.
25 kms or so left, Garmin pulling hard at the front pulling back a small group with 30 seconds. Deignan out the back of a pretty big peloton apparently. Beautiful weather, picture-postcard Switzerland even if rolling countryside rather than the high mountains.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭pelevin

Wiggins ended up managing to take nearly 2 minutes out of the rest on a solo break in the last 10 kms. That'll get them talking. Oh no, sorry, Sagan takes the sprint.

Actually Wiggins has just come in over 2 mins down which in terms of the furore over the Sky storyline re the TdF is a bit of a pity.

he didnt really seem to be pushing himself. and sky were all over the place no one supporting kenaugh near the end. cav got dumped aswell

No, he just seemed to be rolling in at his own pace. Dunno if the desire to make an uncomfortable point to the Sky hierarchy is simply absent in him. Right though that if there were hopes for Kennaugh, then maybe he if he had the legs, he should have been making more of an effort to stay up there. Come to think of it, if he was ordinary in the TT, losing time today, presumably he'll lose a lot more in the mountains . . . so what's in it for Wiggins in this race?

Great nerves & technique on that cramped, difficult finish all right.

Philip Deignan finished in 167th place, 15min 25sec behind the stage winner.

Hopefully it's a case of him planning to get into another few breaks so he needed to distance himself in the GC to be let go, rather than being spent from yesterday.

Right ...no more predictions for me...Didn't see the race but expect as Deignan last a bit of time he decided to sit up and will now go for stages

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

How bad is Tony Martin at climbing? Wondering how long he can hang onto the leader's jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 690 ✭✭✭dragratchet

didnt catch todays stage, is wiggins simply not bothered putting in the work after the tdf snub. was hoping he'd give it a bit of welly to stir things up a bit, though i suppose with wiggo, its equally plausible that he'd just sit up and enjoy the scenery

well he is not really bad at anything...he looks abit strange at present .......different from his usual self as if he has been remodelled.....Imagine at weekend one of the usual suspects of Costa, Mollema , Kresugier, Frank & Pinot will take over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,478 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

He's actually not too bad. Similar to Cancellara, when he's holding the leader's jersey, he can climb ok for a while and stick with the GC guys. Looking at the stages to come, he shouldn't have any problems with the next three. Stage 7 is an ITT so in theory he should be able to extend his lead. But Stage 8 finishes with the climb up to Vernier, which should be a bridge too far for the German.

    spoiler :
good sprint finish today and it was great to see the second kick from cav, looks like he is carrying some good form into the tour. dagenkolb seem to lose it and Sagan had not got the legs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭MPFG

Think Degenkolb crashed or had some mishap...Hard to say about Cavendish without Greipel or Kettle there for competition

he hasnt really seemed that interested in the whole thing. was watching him few days ago and he was just coasting along as if it was a gentle training spin. wonder was he officially told hes not in the TDF team and this is his sulk/two fingers to sky

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 235 ✭✭whacker00

i really thought he would have show some real character and reacted the oposite way. Go to Switzerland to prove a point to Sky and then put additional pressure on Brailsford to bring him to the tour

i seem to be way off in that thinking

sprint finish. crash 300m to go Cav was involved. Looks like someone oushed a Orica rider who took Cav down with him. Modolo (lampre) won ahead of sagan

    From Cyclingnews:
"Reports that Sergio Henao is out of the race. Details are a little fuzzy at the moment with conflicting reports but according to a number of outlets he was hit by a vehicle while riding recon on the course. Reports are that he went to hospital straight away but Sky have told us that he was with the team doctor until recently. As soon as we know more we'll update you."
