Thunderbird - insertion of signatures

Thunderbird will not allow insertion of signatures like windows mail. Windows mail can have a few sigs and can click insert and chooses which one. Thunderbird much more complex. Is there any way to have it like windows mail Has anyone used signature switch add on?
