Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What about Russia to South Africa though?

Well Luch Vladivostok got fairly close to qualifying for the Europa League this season, imagine St Pats drawing them

Only a matter of time here.

He kicked the ball at the goal but it didn't go in! And then they did it again, but he tries to kick it with his head, so it didn't go in.

    Muntari's only 29 as well.

Seems to have been around since I was in short trousers.

Ghana knocking on the door now.
Hapes of pressure on Atsu though.
    Bring on the Prince.

    Actual 29...or Kanu 29?

Argh the crossing is truly shocking. Pretty much a lottery

Ah, the casual racism "sure he's probably 50" jokes about African players has started. Was only a matter of time.

The USA were very lucky because the player for the other team nearly scored a goal by kicking the football with his head. There's half an hour to go and the Ghanians are insisting on trying to score a goal. The Usa's only chance is to stop them from kicking the football in the goal.

    Please stop

Maybe this is for a new thread?

I posted Seaneh's point about confederations in the 'Make Soccer Better' thread. Might generate some chat/debate there. Good topic.

Haha that replay says it all, the right pass was clearly to the player outside right

Why do people dispute their ages? Do they not have cream out in Africa - anti aging stuff?

    Boetang should have started.

Not disputing at all, just never realised many of these players were so young at the last WC.

Every time Ghana kicks the football at the goal it goes too high, so it doesn't go in the goal.

Hopefully the USA can kick the football into the goal, but given the way the other team kicks the football away when the USA gets near the goal, the only hope is for the USA to stop Ghana from kicking the football too close to their goal.

Anyone find the giant sponsored watch for additional time a bit too much in your face advertising?

Actually associates the watch with unreliability and randomness now that i think about it.

You forgot to say ''Kicked the ball with their head". Please remember to say it next time as it is hilarious.

Ghana are OK, the US are incredibly disciplined.

You'll not see another side play in lines as well as they do.

Great defence from the US so far.
