Saw a lovely 93-WW- ***** BX19 Turbo TXZ (or something) been driven with enthusiasm on the M11 heading North from Arklow this morning. Always like those cars. No pics cuz I was driving and you wouldn't be doing that while driving

Dun Laoghaire is always good for few classics. I'm there most days!

That purple spot on your lens might entitle you to a replacement iPhone! It's a hardware flaw I got a free replacement phone after calling Apple.

@ Dades, indeed DL is a haven for classics, there was quite a few more I couldn't capture on camera - and re the camera, its an old (ahem, 'classic', - that's how I roll ;)) nokia, and I'm not on any plan to upgrade - no matter how I try to clean the lens, that little splodge keeps showing up

Maybe he's having plenty of luck and the clamp is his own and a way of avoiding getting clamped?

Great wee car those Starlets. I had an 83 model from 95 till 01. Never once let me down.

Could be owned by an older person who may not be aware of 'vintage tax'. Or perhaps they feel 'obliged/honour bound' to pay the full rate as they use it everyday?! :D

There were carry bags on the back seat from Nolans of Clontarf..safe to assume the owner is of an older generation :D

It's where Joe Duffy buys his cravats and pocket squares.

Ahem! It's not just geriatrics who shop in Nolans.

Except on a Saturday, when they must have a bingo bus ship them in.

On the subject of DL being a haven for classics...

I parked my 924 beside the yacht club for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon (normally park in the Pavillion). Only noticed this morning scratches all down the driver's side, part of the bonnet and the roof. Definitely weren't there before as I only washed the car this week.

I can only imagine some scrotes got a kick out of systematically rubbing something on the paintwork. On the bright side, none of the marks seem to be really deep and might be got out with T-cut or something. On the dark side... where's Liam Neeson to track these bastards down when you need him.

    WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

Don't mean to disrupt the thread any more but I owe the scrotes of Dun Laoghaire an apology...

Turns out one of the kids in the cul de sac (as witnesses by another) was teasing his dog by putting a tennis ball on my roof and watching the dog trying to climb my car with his claws. He then climbed up the bonnet and had the dog on the roof trying to grab the ball from his hand.

He's now buried up the Wicklow mountains with the dog.
