A ropey but rare Datsun Sunny in sunny Manchester today.
Two spares lurking in the front garden.

Looks like a Cherry to me :)

    No it's a 120y Sunny alright.

Mind you by the time they finished rusting it didn't make much difference :).

(another 4 door in the garden along with an even rarer coupe)

    It's a 120A, not a 120Y. Which is a cherry.

Just to confuse things more, I thought it was a 100A Cherry Fll

Like the mkIII cortina there is something American retro cool about this styling now. It's not pretty and it was horribly dated styling by 1980 but this is why even everyday 70s 'jap crap' can have it's day. Eventually.

I actually thought that myself as I had one many moons ago, but hpi has it listed as a 120A. Could be a typo.

Following extensive research I can confirm that I am wrong :).
    It is in fact a 120 A F11.
The 120 bit caught me out, I thought all 120's were Sunnys.
Thanks for the comments, once more proving the worth of this forum.

I came across an MG collection, most likely they were heading to Rosslare, so possibly a UK Club run - quite a few of them which I didn't capture, there were also some NI reg'd MGFs.
Very clean looking Beetle on the M50 the other morning.
and apologies for the crappy pic of the Roller filling up, gold with a brown hood, I think it was on ZVs.

Was my first time making it to the Limerick Show yesterday, and I didn't arrive until about 2.30 so got about 45 minutes before the heavens opened and the messes headed to the exit. The entrance party at the gate was nice, but there's plenty of pics already around. I could have spent hours sitting and staring at the 964 Carrera Cup, what an absolutely timeless machine. As for all the big money stuff out front, I wonder how many casually strolled past what may be the rarest car that was there yesterday.........

Was drooling over some of those earlier in the other thread, definitely a show to keep in mind for next year!

Looks like they had a bouncer for the expensive stuff!!! I'm nervous enough about my own yolk, I'd be a nervous wreck bringing something like those motors to a show!

I suppose this could be considered "classic", anyway, they are a rare sight in Cavan.
In a small local garage for brake work.

In Bray earlier. I love this period colour, really suits the W123. Not sure what the official MB name is for it..
    (she's a left hooker too)
