Presumably having had 2k spent on it 10 years ago, its been on the road here.

Its not a car that should be in a shed, it should be on the road.

    Nice.

Think I posted the military before, but well worth a second look.

    Two nice Land Rovers.
That Limerick reg. military one is a Series 3 Lightweight. They are rare enough in Ireland.

That belongs to a friend of mine. So much blood, sweat and tears went into building that over about 8 years. Its an extraordinary beast.

I wouldn't like to harassed a guess at rebuild cost, but well worth it. Looks great.

Cool vid, I've often been tempted to make a build video, fair play to him

You should look up George from Soup classics on Youtube. He makes some extraordinary stop motion videos while restoring a Lotus Esprit and and a Range Rover.

not spotted today, but rather a few weeks back in Bray.
I wouldn't be great on early post-war British cars, so cartell tell me its an Austin Somerset, which was produced between 1952-54 and used the running gear of A40 Dorset and Devon.
I must clear out the phone and get some more pics up.
Bonus Bristol Blenheim in D4 recently too, which another poster on the HWIST thread mentions was previously owned by the owner of Bristol cars..

You don't see a Bristol everyday!

Maybe a pair of Bristols but that's for another forum!!

Don't know if it's the same Bristol but I've seen one parked up in a side street off Ranelagh a few times. There's usually a few classics parked near each other there - presumably an enthusiast living/working around there.

I often went off to Bristol to check out a few Capris. Shame it wasn't the other way around, but nevermind.:pac:

Spotted this pulling in behind me for juice, only 65,000 on the clock.

sorry about that old chap; there's some serious metal around that part of town..
I notice the Bentley has a Mulliner badge on the rear, and does anyone know what the little knobby thing on the C pillar is? Is it an indicator/repeater, or a Mulliner badge?
The Mercedes coupe was in Greystones, a non-carb'ed version

there's always something interesting & tasty in that driveway...present & past spots (you can see a hint of white Citroen in the BMW pic)

A lovely old Mercedes restored to perfection inside and out in Portugal today.
As nice as it is it's only the consolation prize because I missed an early E Type DHC and a Volvo P544.
    Better luck tomorrow.

I wouldn't usually be overly fond of an ol' '123, but that does look smashing

You could drive down to a match in that and go home by the river to avoid the traffic jams :)
