Look out across the sea towards Donegal and you might see a yellow submarine.

I've been in Streedagh since Thursday. Up and down to Mullaghmore and Bundoran a few times over the weekend and I've seen nothing bar a yellow Capri while i was driving around the N15 roundabout so couldn't get a pic. You're trolling me at this stage. :P

Did you get caught up any of that accident traffic/diversions? Took me an hour to grt into town today.

No. Thankfully not, though the midday and MIL did.

I was thinking it's some sort of Peugeot saloon but the light cluster doesn't match with the 505 as my first guess.

    Possibly an FSO Polonez?

    Definitely not a Polonez :)

The Padre Pio sticker gives it some period charm

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

A turbo in a Y10 and you will need all the divine intervention you can get. Rosary beads on rear view mirror and scapula around gearstick at a minimum.

Seriously though, that is a lovely little thing. Same mechanicals as the Uno turbo?

I’m fairly sure Deane motors sold that Y10

I think it's a 1.0 FIRE engine in the turbo. I can imagine how long the head gaskets last in them with a turbo. The standard engine wasn't great for them.

Was behind this big 'un on Monday for a few miles near Nenagh. Every time the driver gave her the gas, she gave a nice black cloud out from both sides. Couldn't get close enough to get a good listen to the sound, but I'd imagine it'd be lovely. Was in great nick too, and didn't hang about.

its a 1050 not 1.0 FIRE - Have to say I have never heard of the Head Gasket being an issue on that engine - the later Punto 1.2 yes. The FIRE was a revelation in its day.

I would flipping love that Y10 ! I just seem to go a little bonkers for anything with a Lancia badge.

So I changed the wheels on my Jag - mainly because I wouldnt pay 350 a corner for the metric tyres ...

But I dont know if I like the new 16's as much !

    whats the opinion here ?

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

I have no idea what wheels are original on the Jag or what options you have or what is supposed to be desirable. Or in summary: I don't really know anything.

But I prefer the ones in the bottom picture.

both are from Jags - the top ones are from an X300 ( the next iteration of mine ) and the ones on the bottom are the originals - but when you think 4 new tyres for those were nearly the price I paid for the car........
