a few more for the 4WD fans..
anyone know the craic with the blue Landie? It's got RAF roundels on the front.. reg doesn't show up on cartel either, spotted in Westport.
The 90 was in Clonakilty, both G's are regular drivers around north Wicklow.
Edit: bonus points if you spot the Wookie & Stormtrooper - only just after seeing them now myself!

Blue LR is listed on DVLA as taxed and MOT’d, although it’s listed as being green. I’m sure there are gaps in Cartell’s database.

Blue LR is a pop top camper by the look of it, cool yoke :)

No photos as I was driving, this burning between Sutton and Fairview I spotted 2 classics. One s light blue and I think the other red. No idea what it was, thought maybe Citroen or lotus, the from lights were quite odd and more in the middle than usual. I missed the 2nd one trying to see a rear badge or model. Anyone see anything?

Judging by the reg no on the Jag, they would be Dagenham Dustbins?

Looks like the one that was up for sale on DD about 2 months ago. Seller was looking for around €8000 IIRC.

Spotted this cool Renault 18 Turbo out walking the other morning. Looks really good. I love funky alloys and headlight wipers. I remember a friend had an estate one years ago, very comfy cars. His head gasket went and it was scrapped

Was it bought for small money in new ross?

If memory serves the Gardai had some of those 18 Turbos as unmarked cars back in the day, as they were considered quite fast at the time.
Although it’s 40 years ago, so maybe I’m dreaming.

Imported by a Renault fanatic in KK who sold it to a retired man. I'm not sure if he has sold it although I know there was a health issue. It was starting to rust around the base of the windscreen and appears to be worse now.

This is true. It was a time when when performance cars were appearing in the Garda fleet. They had experimented with Kawasaki 500 triples in the bike fleet as well but if memory serves me right, it didnt go too well!

    The H1, was it?

The GT550s were slow enough. I had no trouble smoking them back in the day on a Cagiva 125.

I had one for 13 years. What an engine. Bought it from Mike Meskall in 2000. Broke my heart to have to sell it but it went to a great home and got a full resto. Mike saw it at an event 2 years ago and sent me this.

and an 80s BMW 635CSi probably "resting" until it gets cheap tax soon...

If I'm right, that hotel has a number for a name :)

That BMW has been there for years but it does move on occasion as it has been in different spots from time to time I have seen it.

Makes me wonder if it is the hotel owner's car. I'm sure my in-laws will now :D
