    Good plate work!

I went to look at that car when it was for sale in Roscrea. Lovely overall condition except for the large amount of bubbling under the rear window and C pillars

Spotted this in Ballinamore last Sunday.
Probably a Bill Cullen special :D
The elderly owner had a little country town garage, now just selling accessories.
Was always a Renault fan though, as well as the Vel Satis, he still has the old sales posters up in his shop.

I was a passenger in that before when I sold my old Clio. Nothing really worked in it then and I assume with the passage of time very little does now

That's an x Lord Mayor car, hideously ugly things IMO and that's coming from an avantime owner.

I've never been in a fully functioning one, and that's coming from a Renault apologist

I was speaking to a lovely young lady this morning about her new Renault Capture and she was telling me she came from a 'Renault family'. Her Dad had one and always loved them ... etc etc. I asked her if they ever had problems with them and she said 'oh yeah loads of things' ..... anything electrical? ..... yeah ..... but all cars have problems ....

    Eh no they dont!

Its amazing what some people will put up with

I've only ever owned fast Renaults a 19 16v, Clio 16v and 5Gt Turbo but I was quite happy to put up with the hassle.

I looked at either that or 06 D 1 in Dublin a couple of years ago. Lot of car for €2500 but no NCT so I ran away.

I like them personally, but I like stuff that looks different, like the Avantime, Multipla, Figaro, Cube etc. Bit better than another beige Avensis or silver Octavia.

Not much use to a farmer.

Really nice ph1 19 TSE. For sale at €1700 on Donedeal. If I had the cash I would be on this. Plates were originals from some dealer up in Louth, something and Rice, I believe. Tomorrow's classic, today

A couple of original looking Starlets, a Alto identical to mine with 14k miles (mine had 12k) which coincidentally belongs to my old vehicle maintenance teacher, and a seriously look little Honda City.

This was mint, looks a bit too modern (yes I'm calling a Mk3 escort modern) for ZVs though. Automatic too.

The Subaru was lovely, 1 owner from new and something like 30k on the clock. Taxed and tested and yours for €1500

    A Subaru Mini Jumbo!
My Uncle had one. Utterly reliable, but only a 2 cylinder engine.
He delighted in telling us that Subaru made the engines for the Zero fighters in WW2.
We would tell him that they had fair went downhill since that! :D
If you opened all the doors and the hatchback, there was practically nothing left only the floor and the roof!
