    Recently spotted Bray/Greystones/Wicklow town.
Great to see some original Irish reg's still doing the rounds*

The Rolls is coming up as a 78, the Rangie as a '76, *although I'm aware it could be a chassis off job, the body was fairly rusty in spots.

I someone was at the cork summer show too.

I meant to take photos of more of the classic cars but got completely distracted by the Alpha Romeo.

    Ballinora "show".

What a waste of time and petrol.

They supposed to leave at noon for a run to Kinsale. I got there at 2pm thinking that they will be already back. When I got there I saw few (around 5) cars and I've been told that the rest will be back but "probably after the match".

    A car show at 4pm???

Will never ever go there again. What a bunch of timewasters. If you want to watch some match don't run a show, if you want to run a show don't watch a match. Very simple.

That's a bit harsh. The show would have been planned many months in advance. The match only became a reality in the last week. Lots of events today were re-jigged to try accommodate all interests.

yeah, well... this show probably wasn't anybodys priority that's for sure.

I drove away... what's the point of waiting for hours for few cars. Badly organised, should have been cancelled if they knew they will change the plan. Like I said, waste of time and petrol.

That a Zetor 8045? Was the Roller of tractors around our way in the late 70's/early 80's. Looks like an 80's Roller there as well which ties them together nicely. :)

...and talking of Rollers....here's a nice one trundling along in Dublin the other evening, and a Merc SL in Greystones the other morning

It is an 8011 Kev. The Zetor's of that era used '11' after the HP for the 2wd and 45 after the HP for the 4wd.

A shame, it was in fairly ok nick and the inside was spotless, leather is holding up really well.

Nah, those sixers are the most deceptive cars on the planet. They suffer from shocking levels of rust that would have put Lancia to shame on their worst days. And all in places that are hard to see. As soon as you take a wing off, or put it up on a ramp, it starts to unravel.

But they are repairable if you have the budget, but its usually wiser to spend the money on a more solid example.

(having said that, if its been abandoned in a dry garage, there may be hope for it)
