That's because VW never made it, it's pretty cool tho.
I stand corrected, there seems to have been some prototypes made.

I'm surprised they didn't when you consider the limited choice in small/medium size vans back then.

To be fair, they did eliminate large swathes of their potential van driving market as well, so didnt bother.

All W123 Merc estates have T in the model name. The turbo diesels were LH drive only so we didn't get them here unless they were imported privately. We only got the 200D, 240D or 300D in that model.

    @ Diabhalta, great pics.
That's some gathering of old LRs, they must have one of the highest survival rates (along with old Mercs), I know they made millions of 'em, but there's still plenty doing the rounds

But the tinworm in the passenger footwell. Imagine what it's like in box sections you can't see. :(:(:(

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Bringing this one to Brexit land tomorrow

I seen one of those getting t-boned back in the day by a Fiat Bravo (brand new at the time), every window exploded in it and the spare wheel came out the back and ended up in a garden about 50 feet away.

Yer man didn't have a scratch.
