Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Korea did their homework anyways, peppering shots from everywhere waiting for Akinfeev to fup up.. Brutal keeper

Akinfeev has just ruined his reputation among people who never see him play in the years between tournaments.

No more ''top 10 keepers in the world'' boards lists for you.

Not sure if this point has been made. Surely the heat would affect the Russians more than any other nation?

    They look so lethargic.

Can't imagine it as they do acclimatise and also Russia can be very hot.

How do you become a pro keeper if you can't catch a ball, never mind a keeper at this level? I can't stand fumbly GKs.

1-1 Kerzhakov goal. Dzagoev integral in the build up.

Seriously Capello, what was the starting line-up about?

My god. To think this guy was highly rated once upon a time

He was indeed. I actually had a misguided notion about him, no wonder he never joined a top team.

    Like buses these goals

Looking at the replay, Korea had a chance to block it if they weren't signaling for offside.

Is that the real Russian team playing or are they just pro-Russians?

Thought you weren't allowed play without shin guards?

It's such an easy strike you take your eye off it before the ball is in your hands..

Game is somewhat entertaining now, both teams wanting to win at least.
Both teams' substitutes are having a very positive impact.

It's dreadful. How did the seedings allow these to be in a group together, then also allow Ghana, USA, Germany and Portugal to be in the same group.

Not particularly fair, but i'd rather it this way then evenly spaced out. This way we have 1 write-off (ish) group, and a bunch of really great competitive groups.
