Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

So all going well I should be getting a second hand iPhone tomorrow.

Now, I already have one so I have my own Apple ID and Password.

What do I have to do when I get the phone to make sure I have this?

Is it just a matter of restoring it to the factory settings via itunes and then putting my sim card into it?

You want "Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content And Settings" on the device, then it'll be back to factory settings as new and it'll prompt you for your Apple ID and the rest during the setup, wizard after it reboots.

If you are meeting them, make sure you get them to turn off 'Find my iPhone' setting with their Apple ID signed in, in their iCloud settings.
Go to 'Settings', 'iCloud' then make sure 'Find my iPhone' is set to off.

Then sign out of his Apple ID, sign in with yours to make sure it signs in ok.

Then assuming all works ok, you can do a wipe via the iPhone, and set up as a new iPhone with your Apple ID.
