Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was on Plus a few months back if you picked it up and forgot.

Wouldn't be asking if it's any good if I had it on Plus...

No need for the snarky attitude. Plenty of people add the Plus games to their library then check out reviews or ask for opinions before they bother downloading them.

He responded with that first,in a very snarky way. Someone then said no need to be snarky as some people do forget they have the games just not downloaded them,no harm meant.

Que meltdown at this point! Bit of an over reaction on his part really!!

In fairness, a backlog of games is an awful affliction. God help anyone that reminds me that I still haven't finished the Mass Effect trilogy. It's a very touchy subject.

Im in the same boat, massive backlog.

The big problem we had back in the day was we had no games.
Now we have too many, are snarky at free ones and digitally hoard them !

Blindly ordered this. Never played this series but hoping my son and I will enjoy it.

    Anyone here have this?

Anybody played Grow Home? It looks interesting and I'm thinking of giving it a go. Worth it for €6?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,553 ✭✭✭murphyebass

I picked up two indies last night:

    Enter the gungeon for €10
    Hyper light drifter for €14

Both on sale. Both games I really like the look of.

Gonna start Hyper light drifter today. Seemingly it's about 8 hours long so hopefully I'll be able to finish it.

I already had it (with one guitar). It's a bit trickier than I remember (I actually worked on guitar hero world tour 8 years ago :D) but still as addictive as any of the previous iterations.

I really recommend This War of Mine, 10 euro down from 30 on psn atm. Well worth it at that price. Threw it on last night for 20 minutes, had to peel myself away 3 hours later.

Was also on Plus a little while ago. It was the fan vote option I think.

I liked it. Simple platformer but I enjoyed it anyway. Short and sweet. For six quid I think it's worth it.

I'll give it a blast so. Looking online it seems to have mixed reactions, people either seem to love it or hate it.

I got it with a few friends. It's one of those games though where you need friends to have it and teamwork otherwise you'll be destroyed when the missions get harder. Great game though and for €12 you'll knock massive enjoyment outta it.

I found it entertaining for like 30 minutes, then I was bored with it.

EDIT: Am talking about Grow-Home, nit to be confused with Gone-Home

    Republique is going for €15

Anyone played this version yet? I know it was an episodic/mobile game before

Played a little then it got lost in the backlog (lots of bargins), the control system is pretty cool and offers something new in those terms. The story gets really good ratings and offers roughly 10hrs of gameplay, double that for completionist.

I do hope to get back to it as I only put an hour or thereabouts in so far.
