Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My revolut card rejected the transaction, said they don't support the Merchant - but worked fine with PTSB visa debit card.

Smaller company with smaller margins and probably different regulations they're under, probably can't cover too much fraud if anything goes wrong.

Anybody else having issues trying to buy the press start credit.

I've tried few times with my Visa Debit and Credit and keeps rejecting it ?

Used a PTSB visa debit card last night, got the code straight way!

    Couldn't say no to Battlefield 1 & Titanfall 2 for €42!

Is it the visa verification stage that is stopping the transaction?

Finally got around to purchasing it using the cheap wallet top-up from Press Start and I made all the necessary transaction within 3 minutes. And you get the Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 Deluxe Editions for just over €21 a pop, glorious!

I bought the top-up using my PTSB Visa Debit Card also and there was no fuss. Looks like Press Start are only a small company running out of Mong Kok in Hong Kong, so depending on the card and its merchant their payment standards may not align with those that the company adhere to. From experience when living in HK most of these companies are as safe as houses, but some of my foreign cards just wouldn't work in-house, the same obviously goes for their eCommerce stuff.

wouldn't go through for me at all.

Then tried paypal, but PS ask for photo ID to be emailed so cancelled that .

Ended up just paying the 50, still great value at that

Ordered, hopefully it gets honoured when they realise the pricing mistake.

Fyi if you choose collect in store you only need to pay a deposit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 67 ✭✭bonzothebuzz

Yeah I hope so too, as far as I know under consumer law they have to honour it

I believe so for here, they don't have to honour pricing errors in the UK though.
