Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PSVR + camera + VR Worlds + Farpoint (not incl gun) for £350

    Good deal??

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-PlayStation-Farpoint-Worlds-Camera/dp/B07214T9XZ/

Too bad it's not including the Aim controller but perhaps can pick that up cheaply after...

Any PSVR users comment on this? I'm constantly tempted by it but not gone through yet.

Don't think we're gonna get a response here mate, everyone is over-awed by the PS+ offer :(

Still no joy. I made sure auto renewal was OFF from the console and I still can't buy it without adding a new payment method on the console or the website.

Could be a bug or something. I'll try again in a couple of days.

Add the payment method, pay with wallet remove payment method.

There's a specific PSVR thread where people there might be able to tell ye if it's a good deal or not.

I extended my PS+ earlier and had no issues from the console. Couldn't do it from my PC.

€225 for a PS4 and Witcher 3 (inc DLC) was too damn hard to turn down!!

Horizon Zero Dawn for €30 in Smyths is great value.

    Must pick up a €35 PS+.

There is no discount on the PS app.

    Showing €40 for me.

Doom is down to €11.99 in Argos if you can find it in stock anywhere.

Some of them do, depends on if there is a Golden Discs concession or not.

I took the plunge with ShopTo for GBP 351.48 incl delivery to Ireland (couldn't risk using Parcel Wizard as delivery would no doubt be split between multiple boxes)

Dishonoured 2 is on the game collection for £12.12

How long is that PS+ for €35 running for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

Fifa 17 is still ridiculously expensive on the Irish store even after the discount

Full game on the US store is $17.99

I'm tempted by the PSVR set, but my logical half tells me to wait for E3 next week, when one of three things may happen:

-They announce a few incentivising big name games
-They announce a newer cheaper model
-They make no mention of it, putting into question its long term appeal (even though I believe it is turning a profit)

Sony's E3 conference is on Monday and this sale is on until next Sunday.

Havent played either, but from what ive read on boards and other sites, as i was tempted to buy it at the time, titanfall 2 seems to have a brillant campaign, couldnt say about the mp though.

If you go to youtube guy called JackFrags did a review on it. He's my go to guy on fps's

Seems it's fantastic fun and has brilliant level design, but is short and sweet at around 8 hours. Not bad for €22 though!

Multiplayer is where it's at with titanfall. It's fast and frantic and much different than the other big FPS games. Has a bit of a learning curve online though but stick with it.

Campaign is good but not amazing like many say, has a very ingenuous game mechanic in a level half way through but your left wondering if only they did more with it (hint hint Titanfall 3).

Are sony doing the $15 back if you spend $100 on the PSN store? If they are does anyone know when that offer ends? Thanks
