I see Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is down to €20 which is tempting. I've a bit of a backlog and I can see this hitting €10 in the future so I might hold out.

Doubt it will for a while, well worth 20 btw

That's a great deal altogether, very good game.

Another steal of an offer is Wolfenstein: The New Order for a fiver. For anyone who hasn’t got it a great price for the game, particularly if you are eying up getting its sequel down the line.

I enjoyed that one. Not mad into that genre but like a game like that every now and then. Definately worth picking up at that price. I think I paid twice that in a different sale.

Other good games going’s no yet another psn sale. My poor credit card is not happy.

It’s actually just a full game trial, says so in the confirmation email. More trickery by EA.

Thanks for the confirmation. I won't bother then.

Pretty certain that if any trickery is involved then it's a mistake on Sony's part as EA would have no control over the PSN store.

Well if you search Mass Effect Andromeda in the store, the standard version (just called Mass Effect Andromeda) is down near the bottom and it’s free, it appears to be the full game and nothing in the description says otherwise. Then there are two new versions of the game with a release date of today up at the top, given different titles. That’s not Sony’s doing IMO, as far as I know the developers/publishers are responsible for naming the game versions and writing the descriptions that go up on the digital stores. The issue isn’t with the price because it’s a trial, there’s no mistake in that area, only that it’s not labelled as such.

On top of that, it’s a typical EA thing to do so until Sony claim it was their fault, it’s on EA in my opinion.

It's actually Sony's job to ensure things like this do not happen. Do you really think that someone in EA thought, let's try and trick people into getting the trial and thinking it's the full game as gamers will certainly go ahead and buy it then? This is a simple mistake, nothing more than that and to read anything more into it or accuse a company of underhanded tactics is just pointless.

Fair enough, it was a flawed theory, but it’s hard not to be sceptical of such a thing when there’s any link to EA. Seriously though, how did Sony sign off on such a confusing set of version names? At least throw in some mention that it’s a trial, it probably is a mistake as you said but it just looks sly tbh.

I can confirm (having excitedly downloaded it) that it was just the trial version, and NOT the full game

Don't worry, you didn't miss anything!

Thanks for the heads up. This looks an absolute bargain. Thinking of picking it up. I just wonder if I do will I give it a quick play and abandon it. Have read positive reviews, and positive comments on this thread. How does it hold up given it's a few years old and an upscaled PS3 game? I thought Uncharted 4 and Uncharted The Lost Legacy were great, as reference points. Don't care about the 6 quid, more that I won't bother playing it. Worth pulling the trigger, yay or nay?

Definitely worth it IMO, especially if you haven't played it before ...and it still holds up pretty well. I bought it near enough when it came out played through it and then didnt really touch it again until before Christmas there and was still equally impressed as I was when I first played it.

Thanks man! Trigger pulled. Didn't play this on PS3. Played the original game way back in the mists of time and haven't played any follow ups.

I've played Uncharted 1-4 and I preferred Tomb Raider.

Although similar themes, they play like very different games.

Tomb Raider is a bit more torture porn than Uncharted, but if you like one you'll like the other.

Yeah, I prefer the gameplay and level design in TR.

It's better than Lost Legacy and Drake's fortune, probably 3 as well, but not as good as Uncharted 2 & 4. IMO

For 5.99 it's a steal. Just started Rise of the Tomb Raider myself

Tomb Raider has way better combat, Uncharted never got it right.

Which of the Wolfenstein is better to go for? Both are a fiver.
