Lads.

I grabbed a limited edition Dart Vader console ,with the Deluxe Battlefront and a free Uncharted game in Argos for €400 today .The Uncharted game has to be collected when in stock . I have been watching the price till it went to a good deal in Argos over the last week. Now that the price has dropped with the free game , the consoles are flying out the door. Argos have emptied stock in a few stores today alone.

Stock in all the other retailers of this console is gone afaik .

At the price ,with the 2 games ,you can get back €85 in Cex for the games alone + keep the deluxe edition vouchers and sell them on Adverts for another €20.

Out of sheer luck i managed to bag a PS4 with Unchartered for €299.99
It popped up in the Dundrum store so I quickly reserved it and got it today

My PS4 and game only arrived with PM today and still need to be unboxed.
I saw good reviews on it on HKUD and bought it figuring I'd get my money back from cex if i sold.

I have the same thing for a controller at €40 I reserved 2 days ago, but said it would not be available to collect until Sunday. Just the blank mail. I notice that the price has gone back up to €63. TBH, my experience with Argos honoring these is very negative, so I'm not sure I'll even bother with the trip.

Rainbow six siege is 56e in Argos at the moment, doubt it'll be found cheaper in a store

Anyone here get a PS4 version or have a screenshot of the price of WWE 2k16 when it was 19.49 in Argos?... I am able to get a copy at the sale price as I reserved it... If someone could post a screen shot of PS4 version (they won't accept Xbox One version screenshot) it would be awesome, or even screenshot that you reserved at that price as I am sure the reservation number doesn't matter now :P .. All help appreciated

Xbox One version is showing up in system as previously being 19.49 however PS4 version is showing up as 33.99 and theres no record of it being 19.49 so if someone screen caps for me I can get it for that price would be much appreciated as want to try it out with mates on the weekend

You could buy it again and bring it back with yesterdays receipt.
Although some stores (I think Argos is one of them) will give you the difference if you ask (Presumably because of the reason above).

Your second paragraph is almost right
Its to do with their displayed price policy , as is price matching upon proof of cheaper elsewhere.
