Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think England can get back into this game. Both teams are not great.
Yeah, but the trick is keeping Uruguay out as much as it is scoring themselves. Not sure we're capable of keeping the Uruguayans down to 1, to be honest.

Take him off the fcuking pitch. No chance should he be on it

That's a disgrace that he's allowed to play on. Cop the fcuk on and take him off. The guy could do himself serious harm

Sterling coming off and not Welbeck apparently.

    Hodgson has no clue.

Fair play to him for wanting to play on, but Jesus, should he be? That was some knock to the head.

"Pereira with the head that took the knock"

He should have used his uninjured head, George.

  • Registered Users Posts: 111 ✭✭Unsung Hero

All they are doing is chucking the ball in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 503 ✭✭✭Kat97

ridiculous letting him back on. Football really needs to sort out how it deals with blows to the head before something awful happens

Sterling has been useless in fairness. Not much between them really.

    Baines has been poison.

He's been very good 2nd half. Put in some great balls.

****e ball from Sturridge, feckin ****e

Sterling was poor so no surprise he is gone, Lallana should be on though

Playing Barkley on the right side is a waste of him Shirley?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

There's really nothing positive to say about any of England's players.

They've been outfought and have had no quality from anyone to make up for it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 35,514 ✭✭✭✭efb

Danny Welbeck has something on Roy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,316 ✭✭✭kevohmsford

Hodgson is a joke. They need a goal badly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 252 ✭✭A Greedy Algorithm

Sturridge looks sharp. Hes England's only hope.

Sterling hasn't been good, but you'd forget that Welbeck was even out there in the 2nd half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Hodgson deserves everything he gets for keeping Welbeck on.

    he's been utter poison.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

England have absolutely no understanding up front at all. What the hell have they been doing in training?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Hodgson is absolutely clueless. Needs quicker changes.
