Surveyor - Help q's for buying apartment in Dublin city

    Hi,

    I am beginning my search for an apartment probably and looking for some advice. I obviously want a surveyor to check out an apartment before I buy but I would also need to consider the following before I buy one which are:

    1. ability of upgrading a BER
    2. ability to change a bathroom (as I'm disabled)
    3. any structural issues/ snags

    Would a surveyor be able to let me know about 1 & 2?
    What type of surveyor do I need?
    Any recommendations on someone I could use?

    Also can someone give me general advice how the survey process works & putting down a deposit on an apartment?
