Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should be a good game this.

Kalou dropped is the only notable change from both teams opening games.

ColOmbia 3-1 Ivory coast for me.

Was very impressed by the Colombians when I seen them but I was even more impressed by the Ivory Coast. The had a few that didn't show up in the first game and went down against the run of play early. The introduction of Drogba lifted the whole team and they were outstanding for the last half an hour.

I fancy them to win this one.

Columbia were flattered by the 3-0 scoreline and I don't know what to make of the Ivory Coast's win; good comeback, but there are weaknesses there that weren't really exploited.

I'd probably prefer Ivory Coast to win.

Will be keeping an eye on Aurier, looks decent.

This has the makings of a very good game. Group C is one of the most interesting groups I think.

My wee brother is at this one, the lucky wastard.

Hoping to do a Kevin Kilbane no doubt.

edit, just seen him in a sea of a yellow with a white shirt on him, the eejit. He'll be lucky he's not snorted.

Glad that the Ivory Coast manager has kept Drogba on the bench, better as an impact sub nowadays.

Is that a new Ivory Coast keeper? Looks different, hopefully is! Last one was abysmal.

Hope Howard Webb doesn't spray his foam prematurely.

Find a new roommate fast! Decent start to the game, I went for 0-0 but looks like goals

A real chance for Colombia there if he played the right ball!

"He's married to the goalkeepers sister"

    What insight Steven Alkin presents.

He's brutal, 4 times now hes said something like "good pass" or "that's a mistake" and been completely wrong.

That would of been so sneaky if they had got away with that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Why is that not allowed?

What the hell is that non-stop clap clap rhythm?

Since he scored that great long strike, Tiote thinks he can do it all the time.

He really can't. Though he did have one ruled out against Man City last season for some reason.

Its bloody annoying and is the ivory coast fans with stupid maracas ot something. I really hope they arr knocked out and we don't have to hear it anymore

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Could do with Webb letting the game flow.

Anyone else have their TV turned upside down and pretending you're watching Ireland?

Hate fouls given for reading where a player is going.

That just doesn't work at all.

Does no one teach anyone how to cross the ball anymore ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Pretty dreadful game.

Ivory Coast much better than their first half vs Japan. Fairly entertaining game so far, not the worst we've seen

Poor enough, but I have a 3 draw treble on todays games so happy for it to continue boring.

Not so much the ''games'' per se, but Brazil and Spain's (non) performances yesterday. All credit to Chile and Mexico though.
