How many SMEs in Ireland?

Hi, I've been trying to find out how many SMEs are in Ireland. I'm looking for current up to date figures. Does anybody know where I can find this out? Any help is much appreciated.

No point in asking that question unless you define what you mean by a SME. Turnover? Employees?
