budget wedding...barn? BBQ?

Soooo after 7 years he finally proposed... Woohoo.....not a massive fan of the samey samey Irish weddings in a hotel...beef or Salmon etc....would love something slightly different but budget isn't massive.local hotel does all in €5000 photographer food DJ band for 100 people...kinda like the idea of a nicely decorated barn with a deadly BBQ or something like that
...could I do it cheaper and get something different..somewhere between Dublin and Wexford ideally.....all suggestions welcome!!!

Function room holds about 80.
Our reception cost about 5k if memory serves.
The guy who chefs the 'mystic Celt' catered.
It was great!

Lovely location & you can cater, decorate & music to whatever you wish.

Ask in Kilruddery http://www.killruddery.com/the_venue/your-event/weddings/ they have the barn and all the bits. They do weddings and are flexible.

I know someone that got married in Avondale GAA hall. They sorted out the caterers and music and I believe the GAA supplied the venue and staff FOC
