    I'd be much more in favour of the real thing or at least re-enactment I love the idea of hammering out my own sword, shoeing my horse etc.

    Saw a genuine blacksmith/swordsmith making swords in Oulu in Finland years ago. How I wanted to buy one and bring it home... Really amazing works of art.
