    Too many

From people giving me sticks in relation to their foot size in Sports retail, to formerly rich people now going down the Insolvency route who arent in touch with reality, I have my far share of odd balls.

Want to be careful with the second one!

saw the supposed leak of the Oscar results and saw the guy from Get out won best leading actor and put money on it, he was 20/1 but didn't win it obvs. only 50 cent bet lol

Gary Oldman deserved it though and looking at darkest hour you would never guess it was him

This is the Retail Thread for anyone who had/has access to the forum:

    https://touch.boards.ie/thread/2055527204/1

Example from first post in thread:

    /lady enters
"Hey, I bought a loaf of bread here a few weeks ago and it's gone off, can I return it?"
"Well.. um.. was it gone off when you bought it?!?"
"[perplexed by question].. does it matter?"
"Well, yeah... I mean if you bought it and it was already bad then sure, then that's our fault but if you bought the bread and just LET IT go off, then you can't return it..."
"Ah right I see.. well, thanks anyway!"
    /leaves

Customer: Where is the 2% milk?
Me: Over there (pointing), with the blue top on it.
Customer: No, that's low fat 2% milk--I want regular 2% milk.

    Post 2:
I worked in Dunnes Stores many moons ago.

A woman approached me 1 day & laid into me because she couldn't find the eggs. She was f**king furious. "They're always in this bloody isle & now you've moved them to make it difficult for me to quickly buy a few things". She was standing with her back to the eggs so I told her to turn around.

    Post 3:

Used to work in an electrical store. One customer asked. (About a video player) "What does Hi-Speed Rewind mean:eek:".

Me: "Eh, ...it means it rewinds at high speed"

    Customer: "oh right thanks".

Thread is over 9k replies now and a great read to pass time on a bus/train etc

Great forum to read even if you have nothing to post right nlw. It is very much a forum to vent, where you don't have to defend your anger. Obviously some things can't be vented about like race, religion etc

Myles Kennedy released what I assume is the final single from his forthcoming Year Of The Tiger solo album today, and the man can do no wrong, got a feeling this album is going to be absolutely superb.

Have given it a few plays, and it's a perfectly paced record. As for picking favourite songs, it's impossible.

Just listening to Year of the Tiger by Myles Kennedy based on Lithium93's earlier post. I've never heard his solo stuff, but I would be an Alter Bridge fan.

Quite liking it. Pretty bluesy in parts, but Myles' voice is epic. Love the guitar work also.

It's his first solo record, and a damn good one at that.

    Further musical musings :pac:

Judas Priest, Firepower is a classic. Which is astonishing in of itself as 3/5 of the band aren't spring chickens.

Was playing a game when the screen went all staticy and crashed. Struggles to boot past a blue screen of death now. Reading round, I worry the video card is fried, and thats the best case scenario. Having to start shopping round for a new one.

Ach, sorry to hear it dude. My comp BSOD when I tried to run Watchdogs on it, ended up having to get a new graphics card. Hope it's not done for, but hey, new card! :pac:

I’m not really very techy but doesn’t sound great! What kind of damage is a new video card? Can you get one in a bricks and Mortor shop and return it if that doesn’t solve the issues?

The likes of Maplin would stock Video Cards.

See, the issue is the Dell laptop doesn't have a separate graphics card. Its physically built into the motherboard, so can't be swapped out.

So yeah, it's a grand for a new gaming laptop :(

So Jak X: Combat Racing was re-released for the PS4, well I know what I'll be doing with my weekend..
