So two biffos starting at the same time huh?
Its a straight enough drive. I left my house in Edenderry at like 9.20 and was there for 10. I know the traffic woud not have been that bad at that time, but still a good indication as to timings and that. Seemed to be loads of spaces left at that time too.
All in all everything seems to be positive so far.

That sounds very good. will PM you if ok

Did anyone get results back from the stage 2 exam for Carlow/Kilkenny? Exams were at end of April.
Not holding out much luck, just want to be put out of my misery at this stage!

No news yet, hoping it will be any day soon !!

No, with annoyance. I am on panel for: tco and permanent co in Westmeath and not a move from either and I really need a job.

I'm the same but for Dublin. Hopefully it gets sorted soon. I'm in a hotel at the minute so I'm not guaranteed hours from week to week so I can't plan ahead. So I'm looking forward to being able to have my weekends back and being able to know when I'll be working haha

Heard nothing either from Carlow/Kilkenny. No offence but glad no one else heard anything either!

I reckon it may be tomorrow - only because they said end may / early June. And someone above said other results from another area would be this week. I hope we hear something soon.

How did you guys find the supervised tests.?

I'm in the same boat as you, for the same region as well so I feel your pain!

Can't believe it's been a year since we applied and still no movement :( Been out of work for months now, having no luck finding a job and could really do with a proper income... It's very disheartening.

I think they went ok but you are going so fast that it is really hard to know if you have clicked on the right answer. I personally found the verbal one the most difficult!
I really hope you are right & we get the results soon, I hate the waiting!
Do you have any idea where any jobs in Carlow / Kilkenny might be based?

No. Passed on that. Heard there were still vacancies in Revenue but I guess it's more waiting to find out!!

I had a brief chat about the PASO after my interview as it was on a no obligation basis and was curious anyway. I would prefer not to go down that road as it is a specialisation and might be hard to transfer away from down the line. 6 weeks training in Portlaoise also. Interviewer asked me what dept would I like to be allocated to if successful and I said Revenue also Social Protection if I did actually have a choice.

I didn't get asked anything about preference, there must still be jobs svailable in revenue and social protection so, hopefully things wil move quickly !

I've been lurking on this thread since it started. Just got confirmation that I passed the interview. Everyone who posted info in this thread has been a great help!

    Thanks Guys!

Just received the all-important message and I passed! I can hardly believe it...was sure I made a complete mess of things at the interview. Was so geared for disappointment that I actually cried on reading it! Oh, the relief!

Thanks to everyone here, may you get your ideal placement, and to those who are still waiting for any result, good luck!

Passed the interview for limerick-tipp :)

Does anyone know if you get forewarning for references. I'm working at the moment.
Not sure when I should hand my notice.

Yes they will ring you and tell you they will be contacting references.. They rang me 3 weeks ago and they haven't contacted mine so don't hand it in too early.

Can anyone who knows or is currently working as a clerical officer tell me if we are to be paid weekly or monthly? And if there is a back week to be worked?

Hi jade..I currently work as a TCO and all Clerical officers are paid weekly.. salaries work a week ahead so you probably won't recieve your first wage until the second week, but it will be a double wage more than likely

Ah sugar, I was relying on being paid on the first week to get myself some new work clothes! Ah well :)
