M4 Upgrade

Hi all
After my last chrono which was 236fps i decided to do some upgrades. Some of the parts already ordered.
I don't want to spend hundreds so decided to buy SHS parts.

SHS 13:1 gears
SHS full metal piston
SHS cylinder head
New Teflon coated cylinder
SHS spring guide
M100 spring
SHS nozzle
Mosfet
LiPo battery
SHS high torque motor

Also i want to go for tight bore 6.01 barrel and prometheus rubber.

I would like to get higher rof and accuracy.
Let me know what do you think.

The gun is used mostly in cqb.

Will this set up still keep my gun under 1J and 328fps?

I doubt it. If the airseal is any way near decent when you put the upgrades in, coupled with a 6.01 barrel and m100, Id say it would be over

Maybe go for m90 then?

As for the barrel i'd go 6.02/6.03.I had a 6.01 in my raider and it was just a headache with grouping went 6.03 and now have no hassle at all.Just my opinion.

Agree with Brenak47....I had heard 6.01 was too tight so went for a Madbull 6.03 and very happy with the improvement.

I was getting around 275fps from my G&G Raider and modified:
Madbull STEEL BULL 6.03mm 455mm Barrel ($40)
Madbull Ultimate 3-in-1 Hop Up Chamber Unit ($40)
Guarder M90 Spring (€14)
SHS Spring-guide (€10)
Complete rewire with deans ($5)
NanoASR Mosfet (€30)

and got 310 at next chrono.

Major improvement with trigger response and RoF, so happy for money spent.

I heard if you use best quality bbs then should be fine with 6.01

Well i use king arms with mine which are classed good quality and still had trouble.My trouble was with range so if its cqb then u won't need to worry.

So if i use all this parts with m90 spring will i still be under legal limits?

I still think so but i wouldn't go mad changing every thing.I got my raider it was 280 fps.I installed a simple trigger mosfet a tightbore barrel and tm high torque motor.Got gearbox resgreased and reshimmed and it brought me to 320fps average.If i were u i'd start with the few bits outside the gearbox and then u will know what needs to be done to the gearbox.

As i said my dboys is 236fps after last chrono so hopefully would be ok

It entirely depends on how good your airseal is. I've had guns over with M85 springs because the airseal was so good. Your best bet is starting with an M85 and getting it chrono'd at a local site/retailer if you don't own a chrono.
An M100 is total overkill for 1J.

I will. But it will take couple of weeks. I already bought gears, piston and cylinder head. Project in progress :-)
