Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got this from Argos . But as you can see there is a issue with it . I'm guessing where the bench and seat meet. But I've idea ?. Not exactly safe to use .

Very difficult to tell what's wrong from pics, might be best to take it apart and start again, pay attention to make sure each piece is the right way up etc

After a quick look on the Argos website. From your attachment it looks more like the York 2 in 1 Barbell and Ab Bench with Curl.

It seems as though the "seat " part of the bench stays in this elevated position. and the "back/bench" part lowers to turn the bench into a sit up bench.

Although without the manual- instructions I can't tell for certain

Are the extra holes at the bottom of the 2 stands, not for the base of the bench to slot into to adjust the angle of the seat?

    It's not a flat surface

Does the base not slot into this?

    Which bit is not flat?

At first glance I would have guessed the small seat bit should be parallel with the floor but....

Seems it is intentionally that way.

That where the bar supporting the bench goes. So its on the 2nd from the bottom at the minute which should "flat" one you have would give it a decline slope

Ah I see. Well it's to be able to set up for decline, surely where you rest your bum, shouldn't be flat?
