    Nearly **** myself AH, some kid (couldn't be more than two) came running up the road out of an estate and straight passed me out onto the road. I whipped around and shouted 'get in off the road' he came over complaining about his ball. I walked him into the estate where there was another 2 year old and a 4-5 year old with a ball. I asked what's going on here and told him very firmly to stay in off the road and never go out on to it and then when he nodded I left. I made sure he didn't follow and checked he had gone in on the way back.

    Did I do the right thing? My heart is pounding. A car just stopped for him.
