Anyone know where to get a rear axle for Citroen berlingo supplied and fitted in or around Donegal?. Failed Doe for trailing arm bushes both sides. Was told replacing bushes is a waste due to probable damage to axle from failure.

If suggesting a place please supply a number.
There is a Donegal bloke on YouTube called liamautomechanic who does this anyone know who this is.??

Ring around the breakers yards and see if they have one. The Dealer (free ads mag) will have their ads.

There's a thread on here somewhere about recommend a mechanic. Have a search for that.

Also, post in the Motors forum. The Berlingo may share the rear axle with other models.

One more thing, who told you the axle should be replaced? Worn bushes shouldn't damage the axle!

Seems a bit extreme alright having to replace a whole axel because of bushions being worn, unless the berlingo van have Torsion Bars in the axel like other citroen and peugeots, maybe there could be something in that. the berlingo are identical to the peugeot partner and also fiat van of similar size, the only difference being the badge so you should have no problem finding a spare axel if thats the route you choose to go.
