Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Open skate, Greystones/Dublin?

    Hi all,

I was wondering if any of the leagues in Dublin/Greystones had an open skate (or room for a neophyte skater at a rookie practice) going? I'll be over for a week or so in July and since I'm missing a regular practice with my league, I would love to be able to get some practice in elsewhere. I'm sort of in that weird limbo of mostly mins passed but I'm not ready to scrim yet.

Failing that, if anyone knows of a place to skate at all (Dublin & southward, preferably, as we're based in Greystones with family) that would be much appreciated!

    Derby love,

    Hello Nellie

I saw your post today. I'm the head coach of East Coast Cyclones (we're in Bray) and we'd be more than happy for you to come out to us. If you want e-mail me on eastcoastcyclones@ gmail. com and we can sort out the details.

    Regards

Another question -- are there any good skate shops in Dublin (or thereabouts?)

I think the main 2 are www.gosk8.ie and www.wreckless.ie Wreckless isn't in Dublin, but further south in Gorey.

    :)

Also feel free to contact interleague@dublinrollerderby.com if location/time/date doesn't work with ECC (or if you just want even more skate time!) - we're always happy to have guest skaters at DRD
