    It's not the same drum intro, Chain Reaction has a hi-hat rhythm, that the other song doesn't have. It may or may not have been influenced by it.

    Besides this, you can't copyright a drum part. There would be no grounds for Ross to sue the Arctic Monkeys, for the poster who suggested that.

    There have been several famous drum breaks that have been sampled many, many, many times by hip-hop/drum n bass/electronic acts and the original drummer who played the break hasn't received a penny.
