Nothing wrong with Nigeria's goal IMO, Bosnia looked good v Argentina but failed to build on that and looked dreadful here this evening.

Agree they knocked it round well but think it was more than just a lack of luck /quality. Dzeko was AWFUL, and they didn't look truly threatening at any stage.

They went with two strikers to try to force the issue which turned out to be less of a threat than when they had an extra man in midfield.

Wouldn't have needed to do that if they were 1-0/1-1. Of course Nigeria may have scored 10 after the Dzeko goal had it been allowed, but that is less likely.

Yep. Reminds me of everyone crying cheat on Henry v Ireland in Paris. We had our chances and didn't take them.

Even 1-1 would have been a poor result given the expectations set v Argentina.

In those conditions the chances of scoring for either team were rapidly decreasing as the game went on.

Bosnia possibly should have conceded a goal but they didn't. They did enough to stop the ball going into their own net. They moved the ball around well but came up short in a very close game. Because of playing the best team first and having a legitimate goal chalked off in their second game they are out of the tournament with only two games played. That's harsh, whatever you think about what they possibly should have done.

You'd wonder if that offside got under Dzeko's skin. He really took it so well yet never looked as composed afterwards.
