Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was just kicking back to see how long it would take for a thread to be created.

Bookmaker Oats has promised to refund all losing bets on Son Heung Min if he doesn't score which I availed of.

Algeria unfortunate not to get early penalty.

So I put my money on South Korea to win.

Time for everyone to put money on Algeria now.

Since the draw was made, this is the one I have been looking forward to.

I think Algeria could win it and set up a decider with Russia.

Socks over knees is a weird look.

    Good start so far though.

Thats an excellent goal. I've fancied them to qualify since their first game where they were unlucky.

Striker did well there to hold defenders off, nice finish.

This Algeria side are not bad at all.

Algeria score 2 in five minutes. They're looking pretty damn good!

2-0 Algeria. Great cross and header.

South Korean keeper was awful there.

    What was the keeper doing

You'd think a team managed by a former defender would be better defensively than Korea have been since he took over -_-

    Oh my allah!

2-0, game over. This could get ugly for Korea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭frisbeeface

Algeria and Russia game should be interesting. Hope Algeria come out to attack in that game.

That being said, the way this WC has been going I wouldn't say they've won this game

I blinked and it's 2-0, meanwhile in North Korea.....

That's right, a team has never come back from 2-0 in the history of football.

    Stop.

Crystal Palace's comeback against Liverpool recently still sends shivvers up my spine. :(:(:(

Although speaking of comebacks, I'm a happy camper today after the hurling earlier. :)

I felt that too, but just think back to Istanbul for come-back inspiration.

Yeah Korea have been poor, but this is probably a top 5 performance so far by Algeria in the whole tournament.

Just came back on now and seen this. I was merely stating that it could get ugly because South Korea look hopeless. I don't know what your response was about.

Well I can hardly argue now as they scored another but sometimes teams do turn it around no matter how bad they look.

    Think it's unlikely now though.

Slating the manager beforehand for having a "knee-jerk reaction" by increasing training intensity + making 5 changes.

Not a word of praise at half time. If it was the England/Spain manager he would be hailed as the next coming of Christ.
