Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nah, Ronaldo will pop up with a screamer. Or maybe a peno.
Hope he gets his tits out when he scores

Portugal seem to have upped it a bit since the goal TBF.

Didn't know they were taking it down, there are no teams in the area to use it so I was wondering what would happen to it.

The stadium isn't going to be taken down.

Tearing down a brand new state of the art stadium after less than a month of use would be a bit silly. Even if they'll struggle to find a use for it.

Portugal coming back into this since the USA goal.

Can anyone recall Eder doing anything positive.. ever? Breaking down every potential Portugal move.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

I can only laugh at what way Mourinho would describe Portugal's 'strikers', having spent the season claiming he had none with Eto'o, Ba, Torres, and Schurrle.

They need to keep getting it to Nani on the right. He's destroying the left back.

6 MLS players on the field now. The playing field seems to have levelled noticeably even in the last 4 years

Finding it difficult to listen to Lawro. He's essentially gone senile.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

Also, not one player has spoken back to the ref. Size of that man

    That referee has a combover.

If it ever applied, it applied to that strike in fairness.

If that isn't Nani, Kerr would be jumping no up and down for a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Players should realise that they will never get a penalty if they are looking back at the ref as they fall.

He think he's such a comedian but he's terribly unfunny. Then ya have Brian Kerr who is ridiculously hilarious and doesn't even know it.

    What is Lawro saying?
I think youre better off on rte, Kerr is doing stand up while watching a footie match. One joke every minute, not bad!

I have sacrificed HD pictures to have Brian Kerr instead of Lawrenson.

How is it a yellow when you get the ball pretty cleanly from the side. What is the definition of the slide tackle these days? You can do one but you can't be a big meany about it?

It seems like it's irrelevant that you get the ball if it's done with any kind of aggression.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Someone please tell Eder to just sit on the sideline.
Portugal would be better off with 10 men.

I'd run from sideline to sideline and then need an ambulance.

I can only assume eder booked his place in the Portugal team through winning a colouring competition.

    tea break ref.

  • Registered Users Posts: 350 ✭✭Rojiblancos

Really should just play ronaldo up top and nani & varela on the wings. Portugal haven't had a decent striker in years

Portugal deserve everything they get, they thought let the usa attack all they want, they wont score.
