The Kitchen had its moments back in the late 90's.

Club USI rebranded as the furnace for a while, I was resident on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Kitchen thenm great spot for some really good nights, even if you had people continually stepping into the "moat" around the dancefloor

How about Redz nightclub on Westmorland St, just at the top of O'Connell bridge? Not too old, but what a low-roofed dump that place was!

Used to go to gigs in the Ivy Rooms, Aslan in 82, I think La Mirage was a club there later.

Redz was on the "corner" of where D'Olier and Westmoreland st split, the man utd shop was the building behind this. I think Lafayette now occupies both buildings.

Sardis was in the Portmarnock Country Club.

Saints was always Saints until it became Good Time Charlies.

There was also the Asgard Hotel niteclub in the 70's until it burned down spectacularly one night.

Also Zeniths, later K2 was a nightclub in the Summit Inn.
The Asgard burned down in September 1981. The night after my 21st was held there.

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.
