Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have Gunstar Heroes on the download list for the 3DS.
For a 6/10 game it might be worth the fiver they are charging for it... ;)

From what I read battle R seems to be the one to go for. All seem to be pretty cheap too so worth a shot.

So picked this up from mitch today always like the shape/look of the atomiswave, but had a major problem in that the cab itself doesnt fit inside my shed (god damn none standard door)
Its too wide by about 15mm
So i guess ill have to be taking out the big window in my shed a putting it in that way

Lucky i got a loan of a transit to move this

And how she looks now awaiting cleaning!!
    Something missing??

Looks in good Nick. That's not the original monitor I take it judging by the frame around the neck.

What's the white paint work like? Any rust or chipping?

I also have an Atomiswave and I did a full restoration on it. If you have any queries on the cab just give me a shout!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Groovymame is particularly accurate in terms of emulation. I run 31k with fake scanlines, it's pretty convincing.

RAGE will offer you half nothing, better to put them for sale over in the A&R marketplace

Definitely stick it up on the Marketplace here. I'd be very interested in the Neo Geo Pocket stuff if you do, and the Nintendo bits.

Finally got the cab in my shed this morning and this is how she sits
    0VZKTmp6WLLs9nYz5ki4QuOegraMvifC3znb465Vu3I%2CvY69onKAq5TnB_OAh_e2pZASaHBt-PBIg6CzLpzjSoo?size=1600x1200&size_mode=2

had to drill new holes in the monitor bracket to get it to fit and also make up some spacers to move the monitor forward to sit flush with the bezel which worked a treat
    VAgl6ZDAQa9rSR_4wdHV8C21xqNRyq4NcvEDYsCkS4M%2CaoBBskeiWOIfBYdc04Cm9qYdvG8g0GZYoZ-gs0AUFv0?size=1600x1200&size_mode=2

also just powered up the monitor and connected it to my laptop as its vga to check all is well and this is the picture i got so some serious adjustment needed
    oclNDxWHDo563s9Oi-iMj9GM8zPQMMaw7HsgTWMz4_s%2CSxe_0lqZ_A07zxYWyjjuBR4DxgesvHEjbavI6qlN7iI?size=1600x1200&size_mode=2

now to take it apart again and give it a good scrub:(

Just picked up Nier for the 360 in Gamestop, Clarehall, and a copy of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for the Wii, unboxed.
The former was €9.99 and the latter was about €1.50

Nier is an underappreciated rough diamond and the price is steadily on the rise for it. Expect it to shoot up when the sequel gets released as well.
